A warehouse for storing artworks and sensitive materials marks the entrance of an 8,500 square meter plot along the River Spree. The building’s solid, monolithic design, shaped by the property’s contours and setback regulations, resembles a rock on the flat terrain. The angles of the walls guide towards the property and the warehouse gate. The column-free steel frame construction is clad in dark aerated concrete panels that form the outer shell.
